The Architectural Review is a monthly international architectural magazine. It has been published in London since 1896. [ 1 ] Its articles cover the built environment – which includes landscape , building design , interior design and urbanism – as well as theory of these subjects.

The first edition was of what is now Architects' Journal was published in 1895. Originally named The Builder's Journal and Architectural Record, from 1906 to 1910 it was known as The Builder's Journal and Architectural Engineer, and it then became The Architects and Builder's Journal from 1911 until 1919, at which point it was given its current name.
In 1921, it changed name again to The American Architect and the Architectural Review, the second part of the name being the serial it absorbed.
