Muscle Shoals Sound Studio is an American recording studio in Sheffield, Alabama, formed in 1969 by four session musicians known as The Muscle Shoals Rhythm Section. Claysville was named in honor of Henry Clay, and served as the county seat of Marshall County from 1836 to 1838.
