Geauga Lake (/ dʒ i ˈ ɔː ɡ ə / jee-AW-gə), first known as Picnic Lake, is a natural lake located in Northeast Ohio, in the United States, on the border between the city of Aurora in Portage County and Bainbridge Township in Geauga County, near Cleveland.
Later, the combined park was sold to Cedar Fair and reverted to the Geauga Lake name and a new water park was built on the site of the former SeaWorld Ohio. The Geauga Lake amusement park permanently closed in 2007, but the Wildwater Kingdom waterpark attached to the site continued to operate until 2016.
