Sir Keir Rodney Starmer (/ ˈ k ɪər / ⓘ KEER; born 2 September 1962) is a British politician who has served as Prime Minister of the United Kingdom since 2024 and as Leader of the Labour Party since 2020. He previously served as Leader of the Opposition from 2020 to 2024.
