Never reply to email subscriptions asking to be removed. Don't interact with mail in your Spam folder. It doesn't count toward your storage quota or need any further action. Don't sign up with sites that claim to remove your email from spam lists. While some are legitimate, many are address collectors used by spammers.
Select the email. Click Spam.; If you're given the option, click Unsubscribe and you will no longer receive messages from the mailing list. If you click the "Mark as Spam" icon, the message will be marked as spam and moved into the spam folder.
Filters - Review your settings to see if filters are sending emails to another folder. If you find any unexpected filters, check to see if your account may have been compromised. Check for emails in your Spam folder. If you find emails in your Spam folder that don't belong there, you'll need to mark the messages as "not spam." 1. Sign in to AOL Mail. 2. Click the Spam folder. 3. Select the message that isn't spam. 4. At the top of the page, click Not Spam.
