Patch the Pirate is an Evangelical Christian series of character-building, comical, and musical recordings for children produced by Majesty Music. These comical capers teach Christian values to children through story and song recordings, children's choir clubs, and radio programs.
Ronald Allen Hamilton (November 9, 1950 – April 19, 2023), also known as "Patch the Pirate", was an American Christian musician, composer, preacher, and radio personality. [1] He was president and owner of Majesty Music , a Christian music publisher, and the creator of the Patch the Pirate Adventure series. [ 2 ]
By 2018, Majesty Music had released 39 Patch the Pirate albums, sold more than a million recordings, and produced more than 800 of Hamilton's songs. [2] In 1984, Majesty Music created Patch the Pirate clubs and published material for them that included Bible studies, devotional material, and elementary music theory lessons.
He has written several songs, children's books, and produced the popular Patch the Pirate children's series since 2014. He served as the writer and executive producer of the 2018 Patch the Pirate animated cartoon, "Operation Arctic: Viking Invasion".
