Invincible Shield is the nineteenth studio album by English heavy metal band Judas Priest, released on 6 March 2024 by Sony in Japan, [1] and globally two days later through Columbia and Epic Records.

The band currently consists of bassist Ian Hill, drummer Scott Travis, singer Rob Halford, and guitarists Glenn Tipton and Richie Faulkner.
Tim "Ripper" Owens (who had previously sung in Winter's Bane and a Judas Priest tribute band called British Steel) was hired in 1996 as Judas Priest's new singer. This line-up released two studio albums, Jugulator in 1997 (in 1999, the song " Bullet Train " was nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Metal Performance [ 77 ] ) and Demolition in 2001.
The group went on hiatus for a few years, before enlisting Tim "Ripper" Owens – frontman of a Judas Priest tribute act called British Steel – as Halford's replacement in May 1996. In 2018, Sneap joined Judas Priest as a touring guitarist, following long-time lead guitarist Glenn Tipton's diagnosis of Parkinson's disease which conflicts with his touring abilities, [2] and while not an official member of the band, he contributed guitar work to their nineteenth studio album Invincible Shield (2024).
