CDGVAL is a free shuttle rail service at Paris-Charles de Gaulle Airport (CDG), using the VAL (English: automatic light vehicle) driverless, rubber-tyred people mover technology. The first line, which connects the three airport terminals, train stations, and parking lots, opened on 4 April 2007.
The station is served by RER B (a hybrid suburban commuter and rapid transit line that offers services to Paris) and CDGVAL (a free rail shuttle service around the airport grounds). Despite being named after Terminal 1, the station is actually located relatively far from the terminal, but it can be accessed with a short ride on the CDGVAL.

Le Bus Direct (formerly Les Cars Air France) was a network of express bus routes operating between Paris and the two major airports in the region (Charles de Gaulle Airport and Orly Airport) and a bus route that connected the two airports. May 1976: A new 13.5 km (8.4 mi) long branch from Aulnay-sous-Bois to Paris-Charles de Gaulle Airport is opened, linking the airport with Paris. December 1977: The Ligne de Sceaux is extended north 2 km (1.2 mi) from Luxembourg station to Châtelet-les Halles station and becomes the RER B.
These stations are the terminal stations of major lines (trains going beyond the Île-de-France region), and, except for Bercy, the suburban Transilien lines. Austerlitz, Saint-Lazare, Lyon and Nord are also stations on the RER network. All stations connect to stations of the Paris Métro. Gare d'Austerlitz:
CDG Express is a high-speed railway line currently under construction. It will connect Gare de l'Est in Paris and Charles de Gaulle Airport, aiming to alleviate congestion on the existing RER B line. Originally planned for 2006, the opening was pushed back several times, most recently to early 2027.
