Pagadian, officially the City of Pagadian (Cebuano: Dakbayan sa Pagadian; Subanen: Gembagel G'benwa Pagadian; Maguindanaon: Kuta nu Pagadian, كوت نو ڤڬديان; Iranun: Bandar a Pagadian, بندر ا ڤاڬاديان; Chavacano: Ciudad de Pagadian; Filipino: Lungsod ng Pagadian), is a component city and the capital of the province of Zamboanga del Sur, Philippines.
This continuous progress did not only end up to just having more constructions and medical establishments in the main campus, but also to the extremes of having a new campus built in Misamis Occidental in 1983, and later in Barangay Bulatok, Pagadian City, Zamboanga Del Sur in 1999. The school recorded its highest number of enrollment in June 2005.

Even after receiving its own city charter on June 21, 1969, Pagadian remained part of the representation of the Province of Zamboanga del Sur by virtue of Section 108 of Republic Act No. 5478. [2] Zamboanga del Sur was represented in the Interim Batasang Pambansa as part of Region IX from 1978 to 1984.
