The state of California offers online learning for grades 9–12. Over 56,000 of students are taking one or more online classes in California, [1] according to the reports California Department of Education. There are two types of online high school available in California.
Admission to the program is granted primarily to California state high school students, and up to twenty students from outside of California. The main criteria for admission is an applicant's potential for further professional development in the arts or creative fields after the end of the program.
