The 2024 Jack's World Series of Darts Finals was the tenth staging of the World Series of Darts Finals tournament, organised by the Professional Darts Corporation. The tournament took place at AFAS Live, Amsterdam, Netherlands, from 13 to 15 September 2024.
The 2024 Players Championship Finals (known for sponsorship reasons as the 2024 Ladbrokes Players Championship Finals) was the sixteenth staging of the Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) darts tournament, which saw the top 64 players from the 2024 PDC Players Championship series taking part.
This is the only "double in" tournament on the PDC circuit, and along with the PDC World Darts Championship the only tournament which uses the set format. [ 5 ] On 25 April, it was announced that the semi-finals and final had been extended to best of 9 and best of 11 sets respectively.
In 2002, the PDC prize fund overtook that of the BDO for the first time, and the PDC event now boasts the largest prize fund of any darts competition. In 2010, the prize fund reached £1 million for the first time, with the World Champion collecting £200,000. The 2014 and 2015 PDC World Champions collected £250,000 for their respective wins.
The Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) is a professional darts organisation in the United Kingdom, established in 1992 when a group of leading players split from the British Darts Organisation (BDO) to form what was initially called the World Darts Council (WDC).
