As far as I am aware this is due to the higher pressures generated from 10mm requiring a stronger (read thicker) frame. As a fluctuating (my height varies depending on what internet forum I am posting on) 6'2"-6'3" 230 lb man I am able to conceal my Glock 20 easily underneath a T-shirt, but someone with a different build than I might have a ...
I'm a huge 1911 aficionado, and a good compromise I've found if more capacity is needed, i would recommend a CZ-75B. All steel, low bore axis, ultra reliable, fantastic ergonomics and 9mm. I have the SA model, and it's about as close to getting 16 rounds wedged into a 1911 frame as possible without it feeling like a double stack magazine.
The Fast Action comes in 9mm or .40S&W and features fully adjustable rear sight, adjustable palm swells for various shooting styles and hand sizes, interchangeable front sights for various shooting styles and bullet weights, hammer forged barrel, full Picatinny rail, ergonomic polymer grip frame and four separate safety devices.- taken from ...
Some companies make semiauto parts for some SMG parts sets. They will sell the receiver maybe 80% and you finish it out, but I don't know if anyone has a kit for the PPS-43C. The 80% receivers I've messed with could be done with a hand drill, dremel, files, and welder in the garage if you are careful and take your time.
Oregon is loony. A son lives there. Tax payers pay for self defense training, for people, and camps for kids. He found out they were looking for self-defense instructors, went and talked to them and found out only ones who can take classes, and camps must be a member of diverse groups, and lgbtq to qualify.
The loft is 80% of the ground floor, there's R-19 fiberglass and all covered with masonite. The ground floor has a stone section for supporting a direct-vent kero heater. The space above the door is framed for a window. Both floors are 3/4 in plywood, with the ground floor sheathed a second time with the plywood. Glued and screwed.
Not quite. Most vehicle alternators are no wheres near 80% efficient - try 60-65% And when you factor in elevated heat produced in the stator windings at the higher amperages, it's even less - not to mention, that spinning a vehicle alternator at half its rated RPM, the cooling fan is not as effective at keeping the stator temperatures in check.
I built one on an 80% lower that I milled out myself. For some reason the rifle doesn't fire after I disengage the safety; I have to rack a fresh round in before it'll work. It also doesn't like extremely cold weather. I'm 90% sure these problems are not PSA's fault, but that I need to do a little more filing and sanding on the lower.
