Z Rock was a nationally syndicated radio network based in Dallas, Texas, that, from the mid-1980s through the mid-1990s, played heavy metal and hard rock music. The format was one of several 24-hour satellite-delivered music formats offered by the pioneering Satellite Music Network (a company which in 1989 merged with ABC Radio Networks and later became Cumulus Media Networks).

KGLK (107.5 FM, "The Eagle @ 106.9 & 107.5") is a classic rock-formatted radio station licensed to Lake Jackson, Texas, and also simulcasts on KHPT in Conroe.The facility is owned by Urban One, and is part of a five station cluster that also includes KHPT, KBXX, KMJQ and KKBQ, in the surveyed Houston metropolitan area.
While KTUN was moderately successful in the Humble/Kingwood area, the signal was poor in most parts of Greater Houston during daylight operations, and at night was only listenable in Humble itself. In 1986, FM Christian radio station KGOL, then at 107.5 in Lake Jackson, Texas, was sold and became Classic Rock "Z-107" KZFX on 107.5 FM (now KGLK).
