Jesse is still having trouble coming to terms with Jane's death but has moved back into his house. Unbeknownst to Walt, Gus arranges a meeting with his Mexican cartel counterparts (including Tuco's cousins and uncle), and makes it clear that he wants Walt left alone.
The next day, Walt and Jesse find themselves unable to start up the RV, forcing them to cook in Jesse's basement. Unbeknownst to them, a house viewing is happening that day, and they narrowly avoid being caught when one man attempts to see the basement, after which Jesse declares that the house is no longer for sale and demands that everyone leave.
A shocked Skyler presses Walt to kill Jesse, who she views as a threat to their safety. A flashback reveals Hank Schrader trailed Jesse to Walt's residence after Jesse assaulted Saul, talking Jesse out of torching the house. Hank convinces Jesse to work together to bring Walt down, leaving moments before Walt arrived.
In the final scene, Chuck appears to die via suicide by kicking the lantern off his table and burning his house down. Speculation arose over whether or not the act was actually fatal; the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline 's toll-free number also appears onscreen. [ 1 ]
