The South Korea national badminton team (Korean: 대한민국 배드민턴 국가대표팀) represents South Korea in international badminton team competitions. The team emerged as the Sudirman Cup champion in 1991, 1993, 2003, and 2017, [1] also won world women's team championships in the 2010 [2] and repeated this feat in the 2022 Uber Cups.
Badminton was spread in Korea after Liberation Day and was not organized until the establishment of Badminton Korea Association in 1957. [4] It later become an official sport in Korean National Sports Festival since 1962. In 2019, Yonex replaced Victor as Badminton Korea equipment partner for Badminton Korea Association. [5] [6]

Sim Yu-jin (Korean: 심유진; born Shim Ye-rim, [1] 13 May 1999) is a South Korean badminton player. [2]Sim is well known for her pivotal role in the 2022 Uber Cup, where she helped the Korean team to lift the Uber Cup trophy by beating China in the final in which she scored the decisive victory against Wang Zhiyi.
