VCU School of Pharmacy was founded in 1898 as part of the Medical College of Virginia. It consistently has been ranked among the top 20 pharmacy schools in the United States by U.S. News & World Report. [1] From 2014 until June 2022 the school was headed by Dean Joseph T. DiPiro. It currently is led by Dean K.C. Ogbonna.
The College of Health Professions is located on VCU's MCV Campus and was created in 1969. The UVA Health Services Foundation was founded in 1979 to handle billing as well as provide benefits and administrative support to UVA physicians. It was renamed University Physicians Group in 2011.
