The Mahindra XUV500 is a compact crossover SUV produced by the Indian automobile manufacturer Mahindra & Mahindra.The XUV500 was designed and developed at Mahindra's design and vehicle build center in Nashik and Chennai and is manufactured in Mahindra's Chakan & Nashik plant, India.
The XUV 3XO has a seating capacity for 5 passengers and a boot space of 364 litres. It has a 42 litres (11 US gal) fuel tank, and a mini spare wheel. It has a McPherson strut front suspension with an anti-roll bar, and a torsion beam suspension with coil springs in the rear. Its turning radius is 5.3 metres (17 ft).
The XUV700 is offered with one petrol engine and one diesel engine option. The former is a 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbocharged mStallion unit which is tuned to produce 200 PS (197 hp; 147 kW) and 380 N⋅m (38.7 kg⋅m; 280 lb⋅ft).
The XUV300 is powered by a 1.2-litre 3-cylinder petrol engine and a 1.5-litre 4-cylinder diesel engine with 6-speed manual transmission. A 6-speed automatic variant is also now available. The new petrol engine co-developed by Ssangyong delivers 110 hp (82 kW; 112 PS) of power and 200 N⋅m (148 lb⋅ft; 20 kg⋅m) of torque.

The e-KUV100 is built on the carmaker's new light EV platform called MESMA 48. The Mahindra e-KUV100 has a single electric motor that generates 54.35 PS of power and 120 Nm of torque. Powered by a 15.9 kWh battery, the e-KUV100 can offer a range of 147 km in a single charge and it will be priced around ₹8.25 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).
