The Bay City Times Building, 311 Fifth Street. A two-story masonry commercial structure erected in 1907–08 and designed by Albert Kahn. First Shearer Block/McCormick Block, 101–107 Center Avenue. This three-story building, built in 1866, was the first three-story business block constructed in Bay City. Simmons Jewelers, 208 Center Avenue.

The Center Avenue Neighborhood Residential District is a residential historic district located in Bay City, Michigan, running primarily along Center, Fifth, and Sixth Avenues between Monroe and Green Avenues, with additional portions of the district along Fourth between Madison and Johnson, down to Tenth Avenue between Madison and Lincoln, along Green to Ridge, and around Carroll Park.
The building was used by the city through the 20th century, with a major renovation in 1975. In 2010, a major re-tiling of the roof was undertaken, but a construction incident caused a large fire. [3] The building was closed for 3 years, and an extensive, $10 million renovation performed. It was reopened in 2013, and still serves the city. [4]
Seattle is also the largest municipality by land area, at 83.83 sq mi (217.1 km 2), while Beaux Arts Village is the smallest at 0.08 sq mi (0.21 km 2); both are located in King County. [8] The oldest municipality is Steilacoom , which was incorporated in 1854; [ 9 ] the most recent municipality to incorporate was Spokane Valley in 2003. [ 10 ]
