Never download any emulators from Rom sites... If you do go to those site. Many time they are outdated and older versions and sometimes they add scam/virus software like this and you have other issues. Look up RPCS3 as u/Lucario576 recommended, follow the guide linked and you'll be golden.

If you get games from Vimm or the archive.org main file they are in folder format. If you follow the guide on RPCS3s website it will tell you where to put the folders within the folder structure the emulator creates as it mimics the folder structure of the ps3 to run games from.

Jpotter145. • 4 yr. ago. My understanding is that RPCS3 is the 'best' one. IMO PS3 emulation still has awhile to go before bothering with it seriously..... but maybe you'll be lucky and the game you want to play runs well. There are some games that do.
