Combine bones from skeletons with some cobwebs to make necro armor, granting you a boost to your ranged damage. The chests also can contain the cobalt shield and the handgun, which will help greatly. The shield makes you immune to knockback, which is vital for a ranger. The handgun can also be upgraded with hellstone to make the phoenix blaster.

Best pre-mecha armor by my opinion is frost armor, i don't know why , but it have better stats hallowed armor and a with 1 armor less than chlorophyte armor. so , i would make frosten armor.
Terrarian. Oct 17, 2023. #4. For ranger on plantera, I recommend the chlorophyte armour set (with the helmet), the flamethrower and/or the chlorophyte shotbow (with holy arrows). Megashark with crystal bullets is also pretty good, especially if you have a method of inflicting the ichor debuff.
