The Larimer County Vehicle Licensing Department is responsible for vehicle registration, titling and issuing license plates for Larimer County residents. We accept cash, personal checks and credit/debit cards.
On November 29, Larimer County Administrative Services, District Attorney, and Ranch offices remain closed. Courts will be open until noon that day and Landfill will be open. Critical county services are not disrupted by closures.
First-time vehicle registration transactions can be completed online through myDMV (Vehicle Services tab) or directly with your county motor vehicle office, once you receive your Title Complete notice from the county. Transactions completed online generally take 21 days to have the plates/tags/registration received via the USPS.
