The Larimer County Landfill will be closed under high wind conditions. Wind conditions are closely monitored using an on-site wind meter. In addition, the Recycling Area, Household Hazardous Waste Facility, and Residential Electronic Recycling are closed when the Landfill is closed.

E-waste recycling at Larimer County Landfill. Electronics can be taken to the electronics recycling station located inside the Larimer County Landfill. There is a fee for electronics recycling, and customers are responsible for unloading their electronics onto the scale.
Bring it to the Larimer County Hazardous Waste facility to prevent harmful substances from entering the environment, damaging soil, groundwater and streams, or causing harm to people and animals. Larimer County residents can drop-off hazardous waste for free through the Residential Drop-Off program.
