St Just Methodist Free Church The cross at Leswidden. The parish church of St Just is a fine 15th-century building. In 1336 the church was rebuilt and dedicated by John Grandisson, Bishop of Exeter; however only the chancel of this church survives and the nave and aisles are 15th-century in date. [7]
The church is dedicated to St Just; in 1478 William of Worcester reported that the church enshrined the relics of Saint Justus the Martyr. Just, Justin or Yestin was a son of St Geraint. [1] [2] The church of St Just is medieval.
However, following the introduction of unitary authorities in 2009, Penwith District Council was abolished and, by 2010, the St Just in Penwith Town Council had relocated to new offices at No.1 Chapel Street, also known as "Bank House". [10] [11] Since then, the old town hall has been managed by St Just Community ABC as a community venue. [12]

Bojewyan is a settlement on the Penwith Peninsula in west Cornwall, England, United Kingdom. [1] The village lies along the B3306 road which runs along the north coast and connects St Ives to St Just. It is located between the villages of Pendeen and Morvah.
The village is included in the St Just in Penwith division on Cornwall Council. The original 1970s BBC television series Poldark was filmed partly in Botallack, using Manor Farm as Nampara . [ 2 ] The Manor House , part of the Tregothnan estate, [ 3 ] is a Grade II* listed building , dating from the 17th century.
