Beaumont (/ ˈ b oʊ m ɒ n t / BOH-mont) is a city adjacent to Leduc County within the Edmonton Metropolitan Region of Alberta, Canada. It is at the intersection of Highway 625 and Highway 814 , adjacent to the City of Edmonton and 6.0 kilometres (3.7 mi) northeast of the City of Leduc .

Edmonton, Leduc County, Beaumont Edmonton—Mill Woods—Beaumont (originally known as Edmonton—Beaumont ) was a federal electoral district in Alberta , Canada, that was represented in the House of Commons of Canada from 2004 to 2015.
The electoral district was created in the 2010 Alberta boundary re-distribution.It was named after the City of Leduc and Leduc County and the City of Beaumont.It was created from the old electoral district of Leduc-Beaumont-Devon which was abolished when the town of Devon was transferred into the new district of Drayton Valley-Devon.
Alberta is the fourth-most populous province in Canada with 4,262,635 residents as of 2021 Census of Population and is the fourth-largest in land area at 634,658 km 2 (245,043 sq mi). [1] Alberta's 344 municipalities cover 99.7% of the province's land mass and are home to 99% of its population.
Black Gold School Division (BGSD) is the 7th largest public school division in Alberta with approximately 12,000 students in 32 schools [citation needed].Formed in 1995, BGSD serves Leduc County, and several municipalities within it, including Beaumont, Calmar, Devon, the city of Leduc, Thorsby, and Warburg.
