Pusong Lito is written and composed by Sheryn Regis and is her very first self-composition from any of her studio albums. It is used for ABS-CBN Cebu's "Summer Sunshine" during summer season. Dela Rosa was a devotee of the Black Nazarene and attributed the resurgence of his song "Pusong Bato" in the 2010s, to a prayer he made to the image in 2011. [6] Dela Rosa was married to Racquel Hernandez, who was his second wife. His relationship with his first wife ended after he learned that she has cheated him.
A version of the song in Tagalog was used by Josefino Cenizal as a film score for the film Ang Pugad ng Aguila ("Hawk's Nest") in 1938. National Artist Levi Celerio also wrote Tagalog lyrics to the song during the 1950s.
