La Habana Province [la aˈβana] ⓘ, formerly known as Ciudad de La Habana Province, is a province of Cuba that includes the territory of the city of Havana, the Republic's capital. The province's territory is the seat of the superior organs of the state and its provincial administration.

The chain of beaches called the Eastern Beaches (Spanish: Playas del Este) extend for 15 miles (24 km) along the north coast of Havana City province.The beaches are (named from West to East): Tarará; El Mégano; Bacuranao (has a bay shape, thick sand and a small Spanish fortress on its western side); Santa María del Mar; Boca Ciega; Guanabo; La Veneciana and Brisas del Mar.

It has the second highest population density in the city and contains the core of the original city of Havana. The positions of the original Havana city walls are the modern boundaries of Old Havana.
