The warforged rule applies to the entire race. The artificer rule applies only to the armorer subclass. Consequently, a warforged artificer armorer (1) requires one hour to don a suit of armor, as a requisite for making it into Arcane Armor, (2) may doff the Arcane Armor as an action, and (3) may don the Arcane Armor as an action.
Preparing a new list of artificer spells requires time spent tinkering with your spellcasting focus: at least one minute per spell level for each spell on your list. The flavor of this is that the artificer is modifying their chosen objects (e.g. substances, tools, or devices) to cast the new spells.

Class: Artificer multiclassed with whatever works best to make a decent melee tank (so possibly Fighter or Barbarian? But really whatever works). I'm wanting to be welding a 2-handed-weapon and taking the feat Great Weapon Master, just to help illustrate the characters brutishness (and hopefully allow more damage dealing).
The only other change the artificer could make to the armor is swapping out for the other of the two models, which does not seem to fit "refine its magical capabilities". So based on the description, it seems clear enough that the intent is that the Arcane Armor be eligible for one infusion prior to 9th level.
With the official release of the Artificer class and errata on Booming Blade the only key change is the price component requirement for Booming Blade: Components: S, M (a melee weapon worth at least 1 sp) Thunder Gauntlets reads: Thunder Gauntlets.

Can an Artificer take the "Replicate Magic Item" infusion multiple times and select the same magic item with it, and thus create more than one copy of the same magic item? For example, could a level 2 Artificer take "Replicate Magic Item: Bag of Holding" for 2 of its 4 known infusions, potentially creating 2 Bags of Holding at the same time?
