Hillsong United (stylised as Hillsong UNITED or UNITED) is a contemporary worship collective originating from Hillsong Church. Since forming in 1998 out of the church's youth ministry, the group has released fifteen live albums and six studio albums. Band members are involved in Hillsong Church services and also play for the church. [1]
The first of these was initially to be the eighth album (and first studio album) by Hillsong United. That album was simply released with the title All of the Above . The second of these to be part of the series was to be an extended play release compiled of performances by Hillsong United's under 21-year-old members.
Joel Houston of Hillsong United shared the story behind the song, [6] saying: The simplicity of the Gospel works itself out daily in tangible and significant ways. In our lives there's a parallel of grace being on repeat, and then praise being on repeat as our response to God's grace.
From the late 1990s he has featured on the Youth Alive albums and was one of the original Hillsong United band's worship leaders. His last album with Hillsong United was the 2011's Aftermath. He often lead worship at the church and had contributed for Hillsong albums. Since his departure from Hillsong United, he has worked on his songwriting.

On 9 July 2021, Hillsong United released the official music video of "Sure Thing" together with the lyric video via YouTube. [ 11 ] [ 12 ] The music video was filmed between Sydney and Los Angeles , with visuals contrasts transitioning from nature to concrete buildings, highlighting "faith as the only constant in a world that is ever-changing."
It was announced on 10 November 2010, that coinciding with the Aftermath album release in February, Hillsong United would tour the United States and Canada in February and March 2011. [2] [3] Aftermath debuted at number one on the US Billboard Christian Albums chart and at number 17 on the US Billboard 200 chart. [4]
