The Morse house, a colonial revival style home designed by UO architecture professor Wallace S. Hayden, was built in 1936. The house is a standard wood-frame structure with shingle siding on a concrete foundation. [3] The interior is furnished with period furniture from the 1930s and 1940s that helps preserve the historic integrity of the home.
By the late 1970s, the ranch house was no longer the house of choice, and had been eclipsed by the neo-eclectic styles of the late 20th century. Very late custom ranch houses of the later 1970s begin to exhibit features of the neo-eclectics, such as dramatically elevated rooflines, grand entryways, and traditional detailing.

Wilder Apartments, also known as Emerald Manor, is an Early Commercial-style apartment building in Eugene, Oregon that was built in 1927. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2006. [1] The three-story building has 20 units. Each originally had at least one Murphy bed built in. [2]
