Lyons Township is a township in Lyon County, Minnesota, United States, not to be confused with Lyons Township in Wadena County. The population was 208 at the 2000 census. Lyons Township was organized in 1873, and named after Lyon, in France. [3]
The county was established by two acts of the Minnesota state legislature, dated March 6, 1868, and March 2, 1869. The county seat was designated as Marshall.
