The Kunstschau Wien 1908 (engl: Vienna Art Show) was an art and craft exhibition held from June 1 to November 16, 1908, on the grounds of what became the Wiener Konzerthaus (engl: Vienna Concert Hall) in Vienna, Austria. The show was one of dozens of events and festivities marking the 60th anniversary of the reign of Emperor Franz Joseph I.
Joseph Henderson (6 October 1832 - 17 July 1908) RSW (1832–1908) was a Scottish landscape painter, genre painter, portrait painter and marine painter. His genre was particularly painting working men such as shepherds, crofters, pedlars, cobblers, fishermen and farm labourers. However he also painted Scottish country and coastal scenery.
Pasmore was a leading figure in the promotion of abstract art and reform of the fine art education system. From 1943–1949, he taught at Camberwell School of Art where one of his students was Terry Frost whom he advised not to bother with the School's formal teaching and to instead study the works in the National Gallery.
