Des Moines Water Works (DMWW) provides water to its customers and maintains the water mains required to deliver water to homes and businesses. The water meter is owned by DMWW. It is usually located in the basement or outside the property in a meter pit.
Located on Fleur Drive directly across from Gray's Lake, Des Moines Water Works Park covers nearly 1,500 acres of open wooded areas. The park stretches from Fleur Drive, west of 63rd Street, bounded by the Raccoon River on the north edge, and George Flagg Parkway to the south.
To request new water service at your property, please complete the following form. DMWW requires notice of two (2) business days in order to set up service. Service will be connected during normal business hours Monday-Friday.
