I purchased a complete lower including carbine buffer and stock from ATI and picked it up yesterday. My plan is to go with either a 7.5" or 10.5" side charging upper in either 5.56 or 223 Wylde. Is there a reasonably priced pistol brace it there ($75 or under) that will fit on the carbine buffer tube or will inhale to go to a pistol one. Thanks ...
From the item description: This comes as a "brace body only" you will need to provide your own pin, spring, lever, & nut. I find that a cheap butt stock from somewhere like cdnnsports.com works best. The last two photos show a fully assembled brace with hardware from a generic M4 stock.
It should be less than 26 inches. As of right now, it can be longer than that, and still considered a Pistol as long as it does not have a VFG. This could change slightly when the proposal hits, as it implies anything longer than 26 inches will not be eligible to have brace.

Obviously, I ordered the PSA 11.5" pistol w/MFT brace deal, which arrived today. Here are side-by-sides with a Shockwave, for size comparison.

Obvious use for a pistol with brace and bipod is to shoot a pistol with brace and bipod. If intent was to shoulder a rifle with a bipod user would buy a rifle barrel and stock. Seems to me the bipod ADDS credibility that this is meant to be a range toy and not a 'tactical' SBR.
