Report abuse. In reply to Rhaine C.'s post on June 20, 2020. I follow: Region > Format > additional settings > Currency. By default as was set at beginning of Windows on this PC stays "$". I have 3 PC's with the same problem. In other browsers (Chrome, Firefox) shows in USD. Rhaine C. Independent Advisor.
To use the symbols under the number you just need press and hold the SHIFT key then press the number. Also, there other keys that uses the FN key instead of SHIFT to use the other function.
