Kermit Junior Member. This is my first post here on CoinTalk. I have a 43' S steely in ms-65+ with a die crack, cud and a possible doubled S. *The inside of the "R" in Liberty is filled. *The Left Wheat Ear has a clean die crack from the 8' oclock to 10' position. *Possible doubled S. This is the second coin in from an original roll of pure 43-S.
Wexler has a DDO involving the B in LIBERTY. VarietyVista has a DDO involving the B in LIBERTY as well as the top of the 9 in the date. Then there are various other identifying die scratches. I don't see any of those to the coin, either as a product of they not being there or the coin worn to the point they cannot be seen or the quality of the ...

Struck-through errors: Struck-through errors occur when foreign objects fall between die and planchet during striking. Pieces of cloth, metal fragments, wire, slivers of reeding, grease, oil, dirt, wire bristles (from wire brushes used to clean dies, resembling staples), die covers and other objects may fall between the dies and the coin.
Worth anything? I'm hoping 10 bucks, that's what I paid for the lot of pennies.
non_cents Well-Known Member. The missing 4 on 1943 cents is very common. I think it was either caused by a large amount of grease that year or a weakly engraved date. Either way, it carries little premium. non_cents, Jun 25, 2014. #6 + Quote Reply.

Would that be the right side from your vantage point or from the coin's vantage point? Because from the coin's vantage point the right side is really the left side from your vantage point ...
