  2. Early e-scouting 3C Fool Hollow - Late LATE Cow

    www.coueswhitetail.com/forums/topic/80275-early-e-scouting-3c-fool-hollow-late...

The G&F site mentions some areas like Telephone Lake and While Lake North of Show Low. It also references some ranch and farm land around Linden & Burten, but of course says that permission is a must on the private land. Anyway, anybody willing to share some insight? PM me or call/text 602-399-4769 if you are willing to help-out.

Posted August 26. It is paved 1/4 mile past the Bear Canyon turn off. Rode from Happy Jack to Young this weekend and back. It was non stop vehicles coming in Friday night at 9pm, all going to Bear Canyon. Two lane paved halfway through 4A. We couldn’t believe it when we hit the asphalt at Bear Canyon.

The north side is a longer "walk" less of a "hike" it is down a road. You can fit a narrow quad down it, I wih you couldn't. Its nice to have a lake so secluded and hike in only. Ive only hiked in all the times I've fished it. The dam side is more crowded, the inlet side is less crowded. There are plenty of lake up there with easier access too.

Posted December 23, 2013. I've killed a pile of coyotes with a 22 and normal Remington hollow points and subsonics. Most have been shots to the lungs with about 50% of the shots requiring a follow up shot. I use a ruger 10/22 so the follow up shots are always very quick. I can't imagine how a 22 isn't ideal for a fox.

I'm headed up to north in the morning (from the valley) and would prefer to fill my 50 gallon tank with good potable drinking water in Show Low or Pine Top rather than haul the extra weight up the mountain.

CouesWhitetail.com Community. Lost and Found. We took the dogs out to saguaro lake today to go swimming, drove back to cove 4 of butcher jones and were playing with the dogs in the water. After standing in the water for a couple minutes we got out and I noticed these leech type things all over my legs ankles and feet.

Find a good waterhole with a lot of tracks or a good wallow and sit it in the evenings and chase bugles in the mornings. The highest concentration of hunters will be around Mormon lake and stone man lake and 6a west will be like a walmart parking lot on black fri. There are still a lot of good bulls in there and you should be in action everyday.

This road is a well-maintained dirt road, driveable under most weather conditions. Access to the 3A east area is through the Hay Hollow road that runs north from the Snowflake-Concho road, and by the Woodruff-Hay Hollow road that goes east from the south end of Woodruff.
