iCUE asked me to update today, now getting the same warning. I am not exactly clear if the problem is that the DRAM modules (from a pair pack) have both EXPO and XMP, or if the software thinks that one RAM module is using EXPO and the other is using XMP.
I had the failed service and devices failed to show in the application, but I was able to run "C:\Program Files\Corsair\Corsair iCUE5 Software\icue-uninstaller.exe -a uninstall" from an administrative command prompt, install latest version, and start the new install with all the original settings from previous failed application.
This is under Task Manager/Details. Set Priority to low (right next to Affinity) Disable full screen optimizations for the iCue software (under Properties tab). After doing these three things I have all my frames back and my RGB still works! GPU utilization jumped from 33% to 90% and everything smoothed out.
Sometimes restarting the iCue software will fix the issue. Sometimes when restarting the iCue software the memory will disappear and not be recognized. After a full reboot the issue goes away, but a few minutes later it will freeze up again. I've tried with ArmouryCrate software and the older Aura Sync Software but I still keep getting this issue.
People who use iCue and still have high CPU usage like I do. iCue caused the WMI Provider Host and System process to eat up 25% CPU together. I think I found the culprit or well on my system (i7-8650u) and these iCue processes caused System and WMI process to use a lot of resources: Corsair.Service.CpuIdRemote64.exe.
Posted October 23, 2023. It seems like the install is corrupted and this is one of the more common issues with the modular CUE 5. In addition to the suggestions above, try rebooting to safe mode and uninstalling the program. See clean install directions below. This will erase everything.
Reinstalling the program may fix this problem. The errors all pop up in succession of one another, iCUE doesn't launch. I've tried to repair iCUE using a freshly downloaded version from the main site, while it seems to work, I still get these error's upon both re-start and attempt to launch iCUE.

Download 5.18.106 and run exe. Click uninstall from the list of three options. When the uninstall routine completes you will be Prompted to install Icue > click continue. When Install is complete you will get a notification that ICUE has been scheduled to start with windows and prompted to Restart > click Restart.
