Watlington Park is an English country house with its surrounding grounds of approximately 500 acres (200 ha), [1] located atop an escarpment in the Chiltern Hills, approximately 0.5 miles (0.80 km) southwest of Christmas Common and 1.4 miles (2.3 km) southeast of Watlington, Oxfordshire.
It was originally set up on Robin Cayzer, 3rd Baron Rotherwick’s Oxfordshire estate, Cornbury Park, [2] and has been given the nickname “Poshstock” in national press. [3] The festival moved to Great Tew Park in 2011. [4] The 2017 edition of the festival was originally announced as the last, [5] but this decision was subsequently reversed. [6]
