As of the 2020 United States census , the borough's population was 7,014, [ 10 ] [ 11 ] a decrease of 114 (−1.6%) from the 2010 census count of 7,128, [ 20 ] [ 21 ] which in turn reflected an increase of 181 (+2.6%) from the 6,947 counted in the 2000 census .
