BVE Trainsim (originally Boso View Express [1] [2] [3]) is a Japanese three-dimensional computer-based train simulator. Train Sim World 2: Rush Hour was a season pass containing three routes and came with a free update to the passenger system within Train Sim World 2. It was released on 4 May 2021, and included three new routes: the Boston Sprinter ( Boston – Providence ), London Commuter ( Brighton – Victoria ) and Nahverkehr Dresden ( Dresden – Riesa ).

A train simulator (also railroad simulator or railway simulator) is a computer-based simulation of rail transport operations. They are generally large complicated software packages modeling a 3D virtual reality world implemented both as commercial trainers, and consumer computer game software with 'play modes' which lets the user interact by stepping inside the virtual world.

As of December 2020, Dovetail Games' Train Sim World 2 added an open beta for Raildriver on PC. Other software may be controlled using downloadable resources. [5]

I would be very interested in someone describing using BVE via WINE. I haven't tried to use BVE 2 or BVE 4 via WINE. But openBVE is working in Linux without WINE. More info is on official web-page of openBVE. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 93.85.207.106 19:40, 6 August 2010 (UTC)
