The Kilometre Zero is located at Rawang, at its interchange with the Federal Route 1, the main trunk road of the central of Peninsular Malaysia. At most sections, the Federal Route 3209 was built under the JKR R5 road standard, allowing maximum speed limit of up to 90 km/h.
NPVE Jelas Expressway is an expressway being planned in Malaysia. "Jelas" stands for "Jelapang–Selama–Batu Kawan Expressway". This RM4.6 billion project will begin its construction in 2016 and is targeted for completion in 2018. [1]
Originally the project is expected to take 4 years to complete, [1] but a series of delays in the project meant that, in October 2020, the completion target were revised to be completed by the third quarter of 2021. [3] As of November 2021, the project is 94.48% completed, and were expected to be completed by the end of 2022. [4]
Rawang Bypass, Federal Route 37 [2] also known as Rawang–Serendah Highway, is a federally-funded divided highway bypass in Rawang, Selangor, Malaysia.The 10-km highway was opened to traffic on 28 November 2017 at 9.00 pm. Construction of the RM628mil Rawang Bypass began on 16 July 2005 and was completed on 21 November 2017.
Until 11 July 2016, passengers had to disembark at Rawang and transfer to the Rawang-Tanjung Malim shuttle service for stations north of Rawang. Service ran at 30 minutes interval. The first and last trains to leave Rawang are at 05:42 and 21:24 while the first and last trains leaving Tanjung Malim are at 05:42 and 21:54.
