The below list of mountains in New Hampshire is an incomplete list of mountains in the U.S. state of New Hampshire, with elevation. This list includes many mountains in the White Mountains range that covers about a quarter of the state, as well as mountains outside of that range. Several of the mountains are sites of major alpine ski resorts.
Attitash Mountain Resort is a ski area located on U.S. Route 302 in Bartlett, New Hampshire, near North Conway. Constructed in 1938 by the Works Progress Administration , [ 2 ] as of October 2019, Attitash is operated by Vail Resorts (after being purchased from the previous owners, Peak Resorts). [ 3 ]
Loon Mountain was acquired by Booth Creek Ski Holdings in 1997. [10] Booth Creek sold Loon Mountain to CNL Lifestyle in 2006, but continued to operate the resort. [11] On September 19, 2007, Boyne Resorts, a Michigan-based resort company, announced it had acquired the lease to operate Loon from Booth Creek. [12]
Tenney Mountain Ski Resort is a ski area in Plymouth, New Hampshire, [3] located on Tenney Mountain. It closed in 2010 after operating for 45 years, but reopened for ski operations in March 2018. It closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic in March 2020 and did not operate during the 2020–21 or 2021–22 seasons, while allowing backcountry access. [4]
The resort is located on U.S. Route 302 in the White Mountains of New Hampshire.The terrain occupies 464 acres (1.88 km 2) adjacent to the White Mountain National Forest. 92% of the trails have snowmaking.
