State Route 304 (SR 304) is an east–west state highway in the northeastern portion of Ohio. The western terminus of SR 304 is at a signalized intersection with US 422 in Girard . Its eastern terminus is at the Pennsylvania State Line nearly 3 miles (4.8 km) east of Hubbard , where the highway continues east as Pennsylvania Route 318 .
Where the state route designation ends in Wayne Township, the road continues north as Belmont County Road 26 where it connects to the Barkcamp State Park and the National Road. Much of the route parallels the Little Muskingum River and travels through the heart of Wayne National Forest 's Marietta Unit.
The route then passes through more farmland, enters Fayette County, crosses the Rattlesnake Creek, and makes another sharp left turn at Palmer Road (County Road 11). After acting as the main street through Milledgeville , the route passes over the US 35 freeway and comes to an intersection with SR 435 , the former routing of US 35.
After passing under a railroad bridge, it passes numerous businesses and city facilities before reaching SR 111 again at the intersection of Third Street and Clinton Street. While SR 111 Truck ends, SR 66 Truck continues on South Clinton Street with SR 111 for one block before ending at SR 15 / SR 18 /SR 66.
