Woodville Mall was an enclosed shopping mall off of Woodville Road (State Route 51) in Northwood, Ohio, outside the city of Toledo, Ohio. The mall opened in 1969 and, after losing most of its stores in the 2000s, became a dead mall. The mall's interior was closed in December 2011 and demolished in March 2014.

Northwood High School is a public high school in Northwood. It is the only high school in the Northwood Local Schools district. The current Northwood High School is located in Northwood Schools built in 2017. At the end of the 2006–2007 school year, Northwood was awarded an "Excellent" rating by the state of Ohio in education.

It opened in 1999, and its first graduating class graduated in 2002. In 2016, Northwood was ranked 25 nationally in Newsweek 's list of top public high schools. [2]

Northwood was founded in 1884. A tornado, rated EF4 on the Enhanced Fujita Scale, [5] struck Northwood on the evening of August 26, 2007 causing destruction to the entire town and killing one person. [6] Later on some of the buildings were burned, collapsed, or torn down because of severe damage to the buildings from the tornado. [7] [8] [9]
