The Kwasa Sentral station is a Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) station serving the future development project known as Kwasa Damansara in Section U4 of Shah Alam, Selangor, Malaysia. It is one of the stations of the MRT Kajang Line , formerly known as MRT Sungai Buloh–Kajang Line and was opened on 16 December 2016 under Phase One operations of the line.
Concourse of the station. The station is located within the Kwasa Damansara development project, one of two stations to serve this future township. As it is located away from Jalan Sungai Buloh ("Sungai Buloh Road"), a new access road was built to give access to the station.
On 17 August 2011, the government announced that the Mass Rapid Transit Corporation (MRT Corp), a new company under the Finance Ministry had been formed to take control of the project from Prasarana Malaysia. MRT Corp would be the asset owner of the project and officially take over the project from Prasarana Malaysia on 1 September 2011. [15]
