In September 2016, the Vermont State Colleges board of trustees voted to unify Lyndon State College with Johnson State College, located roughly 50 miles apart. In February 2005, the NA organized a lecture about "Disunion of right-wing parties". Their guest speaker was Joop Glimmerveen, the former face and leader of the Dutch People's Union (NVU) since the beginning of the 1970s and party ideologist until the end of the 1990s, now one of the biggest critics of the NVU's current leader Constant Kusters.

A History of the Book in America is a five-volume series of scholarly books of essays published 2000–2010 by the University of North Carolina Press, and edited by David D. Hall. [1] Topics include printing, publishing, book selling, reading, and other aspects of print culture in colonial America and the United States.
While authors may present personal viewpoints, the books are meant to be "balanced and complete" as well as thought provoking. [1] The series began in 1995, and by March 2023 there were 730 titles, published or announced. [2] [3] The books have been commercially successful, [4] and have been published in more than 25 languages. [5]
