The Kelvin water dropper, invented by Scottish scientist William Thomson (Lord Kelvin) in 1867, [1] is a type of electrostatic generator. Kelvin referred to the device as his water-dropping condenser. The apparatus is variously called the Kelvin hydroelectric generator, the Kelvin electrostatic generator, or Lord Kelvin's thunderstorm.
Early generator interlock kits consisted of two sliding steel or plastic (depending on the brand) plates held together by three bolts and installed on the front cover of the home's breaker panel, however, some models made by Eaton (formerly Cutler-Hammer) and Siemens for panels manufactured by them install on the adjacent circuit breakers themselves and consist of a sliding arm for breakers ...
In electrical engineering, transmission-line pulse (TLP) is a way to study integrated circuit technologies and circuit behavior in the current and time domain of electrostatic discharge (ESD) events. The concept was described shortly after WWII in pp. 175–189 of Pulse Generators , Vol. 5 of the MIT Radiation Lab Series.
The vehicle carried 500 rounds for the main gun and 2000 rounds for the machine guns. It was also armed with a pintle-mounted 9P135M-1 ATGM launcher capable of firing a SACLOS guided 9M113 "Konkurs" (AT-5 Spandrel) and a 9M113M "Konkurs-M" (AT-5B Spandrel B) as well as a 9M111 "Fagot" (AT-4 Spigot) ATGM and a 9M111-2 "Fagot" (AT-4B Spigot B) ATGM.

A discharger in electronics is a device or circuit that releases stored energy or electric charge from a battery, capacitor or other source. Discharger types include: metal probe with insulated handle & ground wire, and sometimes resistor (for capacitors) resistor (for batteries) parasitic discharge (for batteries arranged in parallel)
The Blacker Bombard, also known as the 29-mm Spigot Mortar, [1] was an infantry anti-tank weapon devised by Lieutenant-Colonel Stewart Blacker in the early years of the Second World War. Intended as a means to equip Home Guard units with an anti-tank weapon in case of German invasion, at a time of grave shortage of weapons, it was accepted only ...
One form is the Marx generator, named after Erwin Otto Marx, who first proposed it in 1923.This consists of multiple capacitors that are first charged in parallel through charging resistors as by a high-voltage, direct-current source and then connected in series and discharged through a test object by a simultaneous spark-over of the spark gaps.
