However, I'd recommend going for the MacBook Pro if you're planning to play for long hours as it does heat up a lot. Doesn't affect the performance a lot tho, just heats up a lot.

That's the Bedrock edition, that is not available on MacBooks. Sadly, I am tied to Bedrock, cause I play co-op with iPads und Playstation.

    85FPS (80 - 90 FPS) 17FPS (40 - 50 FPS) 1650x1050 @ 8. 170FPS (160 - 180 FPS) 190FPS (180 - 200 FPS) 45FPS (40 - 50 FPS) Findings. A surprising result I came across is that when running at higher resolutions optifine generally gives you worse performance. However optifine performs better at higher chunks.

Ruined? No. Java minecraft is worth the price. Performance will depend on the mac's specs just like a windows PC. 4. IvyMoonfyre. • 3 yr. ago. Honestly i prefer java over any other mc version. I can't say it'll run perfect, it really does depend on the specs, but a friend of mine played minecraft exclusively on a mac pc, and he currently ...
