Southridge High School is a 9 - 12th grade public school in the Southwest Dubois County School Corporation school district in Dubois County, Indiana. It is located on the south side of Huntingburg along US Route 231. The district (of which Southridge is the sole comprehensive high school) includes Huntingburg and Holland. [4]
The 50-acre (200,000 m 2) campus lies within a valley on the southwest border of Kennewick.Southridge is located several miles away from the majority of its students. The school's main complex, divided into wings A through G, was designed by the architecture firm Hammel, Green and Abrahamson of Minnesota; Joe Lavernier Construction of Spokane was the general contractor. The Southridge Raiders, an Indiana High School Athletic Association 3A baseball team, also uses the stadium as home field. [1] The ballpark opened in 1894 [1] and was renovated in 1991 by Columbia Pictures for the filming of A League of Their Own, adding additional seating to the park while maintaining the original grandstand.
