Pretty good list but I can't stand The Pretenders so they wouldn't be on my list.Low Rider is okay but wouldn't make my top 200 and neither would Jack and Diane. I would probably have Molly Hatchet and 38 Special higher,but then again I love Southern Rock.

I agree for the most part;.....I don't think 'Respect' is rock and roll ,but it's a great song. 'American Pie' is also a great song just not the best 'rock song'. (BTW...most list it and McLean as folk rock...which itself covers a big area.) I also think Wenner made the RRHF his own little pet project and in the end not a true rock hall of fame.
It remains to be one of my favourite tunes of all time, for good reason. I didn't know it at the time, in 1970, that the Band would turn out to be my #1 Band of all time. I now own 33 Studio albums by this Band, who are easily the Best and Greatest Rock Band in History. THE SONG IS " DOWN THE DUSTPIPE " by STATUS QUO!!!!!
